'Intro to Pottery' is our monthly, social pottery workshop, where you can try both core techniques of working with clay - wheel throwing & hand-building. We'll also show you around the studio and explain a little about the ins and outs of making pottery, with snacks and a glass of Prosecco on arrival all included in your booking price! You are welcome to BYOB if you'd like something more.

There will be a maximum of 10 guests at the workshop, and we'll split you into two groups to try each activity. You'll have a teacher dedicated to guiding your group through each activity, so don't worry if you've never touched clay before.

At the end of the class, you'll be able to choose your 2 favourite pieces to be glazed and fired. You'll need to come back and pick these up 3-4 weeks after the class finishes. If you don't live in Manchester, we can arrange postage for an additional fee on the day.
